The brilliant facilities at Aberdeen Sports Village play host to our 133rd 4J Scottish Senior Champs at the end of next month.

U18 athletes will contest national championship medals over the weekend of august 29/30, too.

And the programme in Aberdeen will be completed by our 5000m Champs for U20 athletes.

Online entries are now open via the justgo system.

We firmly believe national championship events towards the end of the season should be the primary goal for athletes and coaches in the 2026 outdoor season.

Para events are integrated into the Senior timetable and there are Prize Pot standards being operated.

All entries must be submitted online through JustGo. No late entries will be accepted.

If you experience online entry problems please email: events@scottishathletics.org.uk before 5pm on the closing date. Emails submitted after this time will not be accepted as an entry. All entries must be paid for at the time of booking.

U18 athletes may enter a maximum of THREE events.

Affiliation

Please note, you will not be able to enter if your scottishathletics membership is out of date, and/or if you have any other outstanding fees due to scottishathletics.

If your membership has expired, or is set to expire before the date of the competition, you must renew your membership in order to be eligible to enter.

All athletes must either be a member of scottishathletics OR a member of their home National Governing Body (if not Scottish).

 

Club Representation

Athletes may only compete for one Scottish Club in scottishathletics Championship events over the course of any competition year (running annually from 1st October), i.e. athletes must compete for the same club in District and National Championships or indoors and outdoors (except track and field relays).

Age Groups

U16: Born in 2011 or 2012 if competing as U18s

U18: Born in 2009 or 2010

U20: Born in 2007 or 2008

Senior: Born 2006 or earlier

Para Events 

Medals will be awarded to the first 3 male and female athletes with a disability in the following events and will be scored using the RAZA points system–

Ambulant 100m, 400m, 1500m

Wheelchair and Frame Running 100m, 400m, 1500m

Seated Discus, Seated Club/Shot and Seated Discus

Track performances achieved in the first round only will be scored for medal purposes
