Emma, Angela join Achieve programme; Coaches to meet in Glasgow

Team Scotland have announce their ‘Achieve’ programme for 2026 – with support and learning for young athletes and their coaches across a range of sports.

We are pleased to note a place for young Scottish sprinter, Emma Clark, on the athletes list

And Emma’s coach, Angela Young, is listed among the coaches on the Achieve programme.

Well done to both Emma and Angela and good luck for the next few weeks with mentoring and shadowing roles around the Commonwealth Games.

Frank Dick is hosting a coaching workshop for the Global Athletics Coaches Academy (GACA) in Glasgow shortly before the athletics action begins for the Games.

The session will take place on the morning of Saturday 25 July and is free to scottishathletics coaches.

Among the speakers are the coaches to Femke Bol and to Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell.

The event in collaboration with Optical Express will be hosted by Frank from 8:30am to 1.15pm.
