Three Scots will head to India with GB and NI for World 50k Champs

Three Scottish athletes are ready for ultra running action at international level.

UK Athletics have confirmed their selections for the Novuna GB and NI team for at the 2025 World 50k Running Championships in New Delhi, India.

The championships were postponed in December and will now take place on March 14.

Athletes take on a 5km loop run 10 times on a flat road circuit in the Indian capital, Delhi.

The GB and NI team is 11-strong with the Scots involved Katrina Ballantyne, Kevin Campbell and Henry Hart.

Congratulations to these athletes, their families, coaches and clubs.

Katrina Ballantyne (Joe Townsend, Leeds City)
