Returning to Glasgow: Emirates Arena to again host EAP International meet – on 31 January 2026

Trio smash Records at EAP International as Alessandro leaps forward

scottishathletics hosted a first and very successful EAP Indoor International meet at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow back in February this year.

And we are delighted to confirm plans have started to repeat the #EAPglasgow event early in 2026.

Saturday 31 January is the date for diaries and we hope the Saturday evening slot will be popular for clubs to bring young athletes at discounted prices to watch exciting international athletics.

Our programme will happen from 6pm to 9pm at the Emirates.

TICKET SALES WILL OPEN THIS THURSDAY (NOVEMBER 13) AT 11AM.

The Events for Athletics Promotion circuit, created in 1990, is a series of international meetings and we fully expect foreign athletes to come to Scotland to compete.

Alongside that, there will be opportunity for Scottish athletes who have the required qualification standards to take advantage of high level competition on their own doorstep and in the familiar surroundings.

Ticket prices for the EAP Indoor International will be released later this week.

*Our event in February was one of only two at that level to be held in Britain in the UK Indoor Season

*Athletes from 16 nations represented including Olympic/Paralympic medallists

*3 Scottish Native Records, 6 EAP Records

*1500 tickets sold (14 percent of spectators attended their first athletics event)

*Significant social media impact across various platforms

Don’t miss out on a great event and the highlight of the Indoor Season in Scotland.
