It was a big weekend of World Relays action for Nicole Yeargin over in China and the Scottish Olympic medallist managed to help TWO teams qualify for the World Champs later this year in Japan.

Nicole was involved in first the Mixed 4x400m Relays team who qualified for Tokyo and then helped the Women’s 4x400m team also go through via their repechage second chance.

‘We have a lot of new faces in the squad,’ said Nicole, after Saturday’s heat win for the Mixed 4x400m team.

‘A lot of young people coming up, so it’s nice to see the vets and the rookies bonding and coming out here and seeing this team do their best. Then see them literally execute the race and do everything they were supposed to do. I’m just proud.’
