Scottish athletes head south this weekend to compete in the Inter-Counties XC event in Nottingham.
It’s the final counter in the British Cross Challenge Series and a number of Scots are well-placed in the points tables.
Scottish Districts will be represented via teams as follows:
West District: U15 Girls and Boys, U17 Women, U20 Men
East District: U15Girls and Boys, U17 Women, U17 Men, U20 Men and women and Seniors.
Five athletes heading down from the North:
U15 Girls: Anna Meek (Inverness Harriers); U17 Women: Abbie Stewart (Stornoway RAC); U17 Men: Andrew Baird (Ross County AC); U20 Women: Katie Meek (Inverness Harriers) and Charlotte Burton (Inverness Harriers).
East teams look strong at U15 level with the likes of Rory and Harrison McMillan as well as Freya Brown and Cerys Wright.
At U17 level, Eilidh Dallas will be aiming for a good position in Cross Challenge Series as currently fifth; with Andrew Baird also fifth.
At U15, Louie Muir and Freya Brown are both currently third.
Logan Rees and Jamie Crowe are 1-2 in the Senior Challenge at the moment but are not racing at the Inter-Counties.
Good luck to all the Scottish athletes and indeed to everyone making the trip to Nottingham this weekend.
