Update regarding the future of Grangemouth Stadium
Following media reports regarding the future of Grangemouth Stadium, scottishathletics would like to provide an update for the athletics community and partners.
The future of Grangemouth Stadium is still in the balance as we reported on 5 February.
Discussions are continuing with Falkirk Council and work is progressing at pace to ensure that the facility will be viable if the operating responsibility transfers to Grangemouth Community Sports Trust.
Further updates will be provided to the sport once a final decision on whether Grangemouth Community Sports Trust will proceed with a licence to occupy is reached.
