Logan and Eilish hit the road with strong 10k times
Logan Rees and Eilish McColgan were in 10k road action over the weekend and came up with strong runs.
Logan preferred the Valencia 10k to the sub-zero temperatures and surface at the Inter-District XC in Glasgow.
And that decision paid off well for the Fife AC athlete as he clocked a new PB of 28:35 in Spain on a day or impressive times by British athletes.
We reckon that takes Logan to sixth on the all-time list for Men’s 10k on the roads.
Eilish meanwhile made a late decision to race over 10k in Dubai and came home in 31:14. It was her best time for three years.
‘It has been a big week in terms of training so to bank one of my best times in years then I can’t be too disappointed,’ said Eilish.
