Chris picked for World 100k Champs; Jason in Performance Admin role

There was good news for Scottish ultra running when British Athletics confirmed the full team for the World 100k Champs.
The team will compete at the IAU World 100km Championships which take place in Bengaluru, India on 7 December 2024.
With four athletes previously selected earlier this year, two women and four men have been added to the squad as the British teams target medals at the Championships.
And Chris Richardson of Metro Aberdeen has been added to the team which already included Dougie Selman of Corstorphine AAC.

Jason Kelly, who has represented Scotland in ultra running in recent years, has now started work with us.
It’s a role which very much involved supporting our Performance Team and helping athletes across a range of discipline when picked for various Scotland teams.
We welcome Jason to scottishathletics and look forwarding to working together to help the sport.
