The track and field season for 2024 is looming large now – and entries are starting to open for key events.

One of those is the first outdoor championship event of the year with the Night of the 10ks late next month.

The Glasgow Athletics Association are hosts for races organised at Crownpoint in Glasgow on Friday 26 April.

And we’re delighted that Seniors and Masters athletes will contest Scottish Championship medals that evening,as has been the case over recent years prior.

Entries are open online here

Please note the closing deadline for entries is Friday 19 April.

10,000m running on the track is something that the GAA and scottishathletics are keen to develop with the aim being to improve quality and depth in the Scottish rankings.

So the GAA Miler Meet Night of 10ks will be the Scottish Championship (Seniors and Masters) event for the 2022 track season and will provide paced 10,000m races for Scotland’s top male and female endurance athletes (U20 and older).
