Vote Josh! Top Scot is short-listed for European Athlete of the Year

World Champion Josh Kerr has been named on a short-list of 10 men for the European Athlete of the Year title.

And you can help Josh’s bid to make the top three for the Golden Tracks awards via voting on social media.

The men’s and women’s European Athletes of the Year and Rising Stars will be crowned at the Golden Tracks awards ceremony which takes place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on October 21 and will be streamed live on the European Athletics YouTube channel.

The social media vote accounts for one-quarter of the overall vote with the Member Federations vote, media vote and expert panel vote each accounting for one-quarter of the final vote.

To vote for Josh, go onto the European Athletics social channels and vote with RT or share (of the Josh post/Tweet).

Voting closes across all channels on Monday 2 October and three finalists in each category will be announced on our social media channels in the following days.

Here’s the 10 Men which will be cut down to three:

Armand Duplantis (Sweden); Matthew Hudson-Smith (GB and NI); Jakob Ingebrigtsen (Norway); Josh Kerr (GB and NI); Alvaro Martin (Spain); Wojciech Nowicki (Poland); Daniel Stahl (Sweden); Gianmarco Tamberi (Italy); Miltiadis Tentoglou (Greece); Karsten Warholm (Norway).

GB and NI duo Keely Hodgkinson and Katarina Johnson-Thompson are shortl-listed for the Women’s award.
