East, West and North XC Leagues make plans for the 2023-24 season

The East District Cross Country League consists of three meetings per year hosted by member clubs.

The dates and venues for season 2023-4 are:

October 14 at Kirkcaldy (Beveridge Park) and hosted by Fife AC

November 18 at Dundee (Camperdown Park) and host by Dundee Hawkhill Harriers

January 27 at Bathgate (Balbardie Park) and hosted by Edinburgh AC, Corstorphine AAC and Harmeny

The West District Cross Country League are pleased to share provisional dates for the forthcoming 2023/24 season.

At the 2022/23 wrap-up and review meeting, those in attendance agreed to work towards hosting events in the next year, and agreed outline dates and venues.

Details and venues/hosts are currently provisional, the planned dates are:

Saturday 18 November 2023
- Provisional venue: Kilmarnock with host Kilmarnock Harriers & AC
Saturday 20 January 2024
- Provisional venue: Bellahouston park with host Bellahouston Road Runners
Saturday 10 February 2024
- Provisional venue: TBC

Note all dates and venues are provisional until permissions and licenses are in place. Whilst it is hoped to settle the February 2024 date/venue, offers of help from clubs are welcome.

Similarly assistance is always welcome with organising the league itself, or helping with specific events whether volunteering on the day (marshals, officials etc),.
