Hill events coming in the North and juniors in Peebles
Calling hill runners – and junior hill runners!
There are a couple of events with entries open at the moment and we are keen to highlight these.
The North District Hill Running Championships will take place at at Ben Rinnes on Saturday 29 July.

The trial races for the Junior Home International event – with Scotland teams at U17 and U20 to be selected – take place at the Cademuir Rollercoaster event in Peebles on Saturday 12 August.
Scotland host the JHI this year on September 10 back in Peebles so the trials offer a great opportunity to represent Scotland on home soil.
With the JHI in Peebles, District teams will also be selected at U17 and U20 level. Four male and four female athletes will be picked – via performances at the Cademuir Rollercoaster.
These District selections will give Scottish athletes to race against the best of Britain (and there will also be a North of England team)
The course is on rolling hills following grassy track, fast going and a great course to try out hill running if you enjoy cross country.
