ENTER NOW for our Tru Wealth Scottish 10k Champs in Kilmarnock

The popular Roon the Toon 10k event will host our Tru Wealth Scottish 10k Champs this summer.

Kilmarnock Harriers are our hosts for an event which has been growing in recent years (pre-pandemic) and now has full national championship status.

It takes place on Sunday 12 June on a flat, fast course which starts and finishes from the Ayrshire Athletics Arena.

This year the race will host for the first time the Tru Wealth Scottish 10k Champs as well as the Scottish 10k Wheelchair Race champs (open to experienced wheelchair races).

Runners must be 15 years or older on the day and there are a number of prizes on offer as well as the Scottish individual championship and team members.

Entry is open online and you must be a scottishathletics member to compete in the Scottish championships. Entries close on June 1 or when the 1500 race capacity is reached.

Roon the Toon is a partnership between Kilmarnock Harriers, East Ayrshire Council, East Ayrshire Leisure and Ayrshire Roads Alliance as well as a number of supportive sponsors.

Back again for 2022, is the Stroller Roll which allows entrants pushing prams/buggies/wheelchairs to compete (self propelled wheelchair users compete in the main race). Please note: the Stroller Roll is non competitive (no prizes).
