Busy agenda for delegates at our National Club Conference

Club Conference 2021 Final Agenda

Delegates will gather for our National Club Conference on Saturday – with an impressive list of speakers and presentations lined up.

Paula Dunn is our Keynote Speaker and will address leadership issues as she draws on her experiences as an athlete, coach and team manager, most recently as heading up the strong British team performance at the Paralympics in Tokyo.

David Ovens, the new Chair of scottishathletics, and Colin Hutchison, our chief executive, will map out their vision for the years ahead and how they hope to continue to build growth and momentum in our sport.

Earlier, around 60 attendees to the National Club Conference will have been welcomed by David Fallon, our Head of Development.

Later there are presentations from Springburn Harriers and Aberdeen AAC with opportunities for delegates from clubs to network and share good practice.

Erin Gillen, a sportscotland Youth Ambassador, closes off the day with a focus on athletes for those in the younger age groups.

Lateral Flow Test:

We are asking all attending to do a LFT (lateral flow test) on Saturday morning this is to keep everyone safe.

Face coverings:

Face Coverings should be worn in the hotel for moving around and using the rest rooms. When seated or eating you may remove your face covering if you feel comfortable doing so.

Arrival:

Access is available for delegates from 8:45am. When you arrive at the Hilton (Williams Street) you take the elevator to the first floor to access the registration table and the networking area before being shown to the main conference venue.

Car Parking

Car parking is available at the hotel and we will give you the parking code on the day for a reduced cost.

Lunch and refreshments

Lunch is provided ( all dietary requirements have been sent to the hotel). Refreshments will be available at each break and before the conference starts.
