Good time for us to wish good luck to the young Scotland competing tomorrow night in Manchester.
The Manchester International takes place at the Manchester Regional Arena at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 18 August.
We will be represented by Scotland U20 team in the U20 International which is part of the match. Scotland U20s will compete in a Junior match at the event against England, Wales and GB U18s.
There are also Senior relay teams competing. Edinburgh AC athlete, Katie Johnson, will represent GB and NI U18s in the 800m after a well-deserved selection.
We are pleased to confirm the team management and event group coaching support staff for Manchester as follows:
Team Leader: Mark Pollard
Team Managers: Julie Mollison, Allan Hamilton, Pamela Robson
Jumps: David Watson and Bryan Roy
Throws: Alison Grey and Duncan Flockhart
Endurance: Linda Smith and Kirk Smith
Sprints, Hurdles & Relays: Ryan McAllister and Anne Scott
scottishathletics sends our warm congratulations to all the coaches involved and also to the athletes selected and their coaches and families as well as the clubs who have helped develop them over the past few years.
In the team list below, we have suitably acknowledged the athlete’s coach and club and it is great to note that around 17 Scottish clubs are represented within the selection.
