Club Development Officer

Kilbarchan AAC is a well-established and successful athletics club based in Renfrewshire.

The club has a membership of 550 athletes and coaches. It has recently opened a new £1.5m indoor athletics training facility adjacent to the Renfrewshire Leisure outdoor athletics track at Linwood Sports Complex.

These facilities will be the base for future club developments.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the club for a Development Officer, a post which will have a significant impact in the further growth and development of the club.

The Club Development Officer will work alongside the Club Business Administrator and will provide support to the Club Trustees and Coaches through assuming, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

*Managing and maximising the usage of the Indoor Athletics Facility and its interface with the outdoor track

*Disseminating the athletics event programme to the club membership, entering teams for major competitions, and organising the team managers and officials for athletic leagues the club has entered

*Recruitment of coaches, the athlete development pathway, interfacing with coaches on the composition of squads and how squads will utilise the outdoor track

*Interfacing with our partners Renfrewshire Leisure and scottishathletics.
