Coach Education opportunities are available via the Qualifications section on this website with dates now added to enable Event Group candidates to complete the Integration Day component of the course online.
The Event Group Coach Award is made up of two parts, an online learning component and attendance at an Integration Day.
On completion of the modules, the Integration Day allows coaches to come together to discuss how the information they have studied online can be integrated into a training plan for athletes at the event group stage of the athlete development pathway.
We were delighted to welcome a dozen coaches on Endurance and Sprints and Hurdles sessions over this past weekend as they continued their learning journey.
Further dates for Endurance and for Sprints and Hurdles coaches in August and September have been added to the face-to-face Integration Days already planned in November.
These are: September 19 – Endurance; September 26 – Sprints and Hurdles. (Note: only a few spaces left for each of these dates)
Please check our Qualifications page for the dates and details on how to sign-up for these courses.
Jumps and Throws Integration Day dates in November are available to coaches working through the Jumps and Throws modules.
For further information and to enrol onto the Online Integration Days please email Alison Grey, scottishathletics Coaching Co-ordinator
