scottishathletics are pleased to confirm that we will have live stream footage online from the 4J Studios National Indoor Senior and U17 Champs – on BBC Scotland!
It’s happening on Sunday 26 January at the Emirates Arena and, for the first time ever for this event, we’ve lined up Vinco Sport to supply us with a live stream footage which will be shown on their website as well the BBC Scotland Sport website.
And the great news is that entries remain open until midnight on Thursday (January 9) for you to join in the action – as it is screened online!
Senior and U20 athletes can enter the event and, on the same day, the U17 Scottish Champs will take place within the programme, as has been the case for the past couple of years.
In some cases, U15 athletes and their coaches may feel it is appropriate for them to step-up one age level, too.
So we would urge athletes, coaches and clubs now to get entries in online ahead of the midnight deadline on Thursday.
Vinco will stream the coverage on their runjumpthrow.com website all day and we have an agreement with BBC Scotland for part of the action (from around 1.30pm) to be shown on their main sport website.

‘We’re absolutely delighted to be able to confirm our plans to deliver a live stream from the 4J Studios National Indoor Seniors and U17s,’ said Peter Jardine, scottishathletics Head of Communications.
‘This is one of the main highlights of the Indoor Season and we are very grateful for sponsorship support from 4J Studios which enables us to do this.
‘We want to show athletics in Scotland in the best possible light so we’d ask all those interested in competing on January 26 to go online an enter. We would hope to have at least 500 athletes competing that day in the two age groups.
‘It is the National Championships for Seniors and for U17s and we’re giving it the best possible platform so it is vital that the sport supports our approach.’
The Indoor Season is an ideal chance to set an early-year PB or, in the National championship events, reach a final or even land a podium place.
