The 4J National Finals Weekend is taking place at the Grangemouth indoor venue from this Friday – with Scottish Championship medals up for grabs.
Indoor competition at Ayr, Pitreavie and Aberdeen proved popular with hundreds of athletes taking the opportunity to compete.
That allowed us to allocate a number of qualifying places and we are delighted to say around 85 percent of those athletes then pre-entered for Grangemouth.
With further spaces filled on a first come, first served basis there is now a busy weekend ahead – starting with Friday evening action followed by events on Saturday and Sunday.
At this stage we want to thank all athletes (and their coaches and clubs) for a strong commitment to competition at four venues around Scotland.
We also say a huge thank you once again to our dedicated team of scottishathletics Officials who have made these events happen through January and February – and for the patience displayed by everyone in venues far smaller than the usual Emirates Arena.
