Our 4J Studios National Athletics Academy will meet over the weekend for a couple of online educational sessions.

Face-to-face gatherings for the group have clearly not been possible during Covid-19 but we have still been offering support to our Academy athletes and their coaches and parents.

So, this coming Sunday, we’re making plans for a couple of online sessions with the content geared to help widen knowledge among our young athletes and their support teams as well as keeping the group connected.

GB and NI international and British champion discus thrower, Kirsty Law, will conduct a Q and A online session on her career and how to cope with pitfalls and success.

And there will also be a session from a qualified Sports Psychologist which should prove useful.

‘We’re delighted to have the 4J Studios National Academy gathering again this weekend, albeit on a ‘virtual’ basis,’ said Academy lead and our Head of Coaching Development and Talent, Julie Mollison.

‘We hope the sessions will give further insights to what it takes to progress from top Junior to successful Senior in athletics and how ot maximise your potential.’
