SCOTTISH MASTERS IMPRESS AT WORLD MOUNTAIN CHAMPSScottish athletes were in superb form at the World Masters Mountain Running event in Canfranc, Spain, over the weekend.There were individual medals thus:Gold: Andy Douglas M35 Uphill only and up and down; Colin Donnelly M65 Uphill onlySilver: Jill Stephen W40 Trail Race; Angela Mudge W50 Trail Race and uphill onlyBronze: Jill Stephen W40 uphill onlyThe GB team also won several team medals with many of the Scots who travelled out taking home counting in the scoring team. Gold team medals went to Des Crowe M60, Andrew Wright M50, Don Naylor M50, Paul Faulkner M50, Jill Stephen W40 and Angela Mudge W50.The event tested some of the course for next year’s World Mountain Running Championships.
