Tom McKean will be our Guest of Honour

Rhona McLeod will present our 4J Annual Awards in November.

We revealed last week that Scottish track legend Tom McKean will be our Guest of Honour on Saturday 14 November.

The 4J Awards Dinner, with the McGhee’s jogscotland Awards, will be held in at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.

And now we are delighted to confirm Rhona, the former BBC Scotland presenter who has experience in our sport as athlete, coach and parent, will present the event on the night.

Rhona will expertly guide us through the awards as well as chatting with Tom after dinner has been served.

It promises to be a great night as always and tickets are on sale now for clubs to take tables and for individuals.

‘I’m so excited and honoured ot be hosting the 4J awards dinner in November,’ said Rhona.

‘I have spent almost 50 years in the company of our sport and have seen it from many angles – as an athlete, journalist, coach and athltics mum.

‘We have an ideal Guest of Honour lined up in Tom McKean and I can guaratnee there will be laiughs and meories of great times, on and off the track.

‘It has been a fantastic 12 months culminating in a home Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. I am certain we have a brilliant night of celebrations ahead!

Rhona and Tom will help us reveal and present the 4J Athlete of the Year and 4J Para Athlete of the Year but the evening is about so much more than those two headline acts at around 11pm.

This year’s awards consider performances and contributions to athletics between October 2025 and September 2026.
