XC and Indoor Dates for Winter 2017-18

Falkirk will host the Lindsays National XC Championships next February, as the event once again returns to the familiar venue of Callendar Park.

The highlight of the Lindsays Cross Country season remains on a Saturday for 2017-18 in a busy schedule of winter dates.

We are delighted to confirm, more than eight months in advance, that the date for the Lindsays National XC will be Saturday 24 February 2018, as scottishathletics work in partnership the Falkirk Community Trust as well as our sponsors, Lindsays law firm.

Forward planning is always important in athletics for athletes, coaches, clubs and parents so we are also pleased to give details of the 2018 Indoor Season for Scottish Championship events following decisions and consultations by the Track and Field Commission.

At this juncture, we are keen to share cross country dates and some of the venues – such as Cumbernauld for the Lindsays National XC Relays and Kirkcaldy for the Short Course XC Champs in November. District venues will be confirmed at a later date.

Now we can confirm that the Emirates Arena in Glasgow will once again host all the Scottish Indoor Championship events from January through to March.
