Senior and Masters athletes head for Livingston on Saturday for the Lindsays National Road Races.
The races take place over loops from St Margaret’s Academy and we are delighted this year to have sponsorship support from Lindsays (as part of the Lindsays Road Race Series).
Medals are up for grabs for teams in three categories – Senior, V40 Masters and V50 Masters.
There are 120 teams entered in total across those categories and while that is down somewhat on usual numbers we thanks those clubs entered for their support of national championship events.
In the senior races, Kilbarchan AAC men and Inverness Harriers were our champions last year.
Olympian Megan Keith memorably guided Inverness to first ever golds in the National Road Relays and Olympian Callum Hawkins played a key role in the Kilbarchan team effort.
Our defending champions from 2025 in other categories are:
Masters Men: Corstorphine AAC
Masters Women: Garscube Harriers
V50 Men: Cambuslang Harriers
V50 Women: Giffnock North AC

Warm Up rules and regulation
Warm ups will not be permitted within the School Drive area, athletes should warm up off the race route with space available on the road that leads to Livingston Village.
Athletes warming up on the race route or on the School Drive risk the disqualification of themselves and their club teams.
This is particularly important prior to the start of the women’s race.
