Entries still open for East 10k at Round the Houses event

The East District 10k Road Race champs are being held in Grangemouth on Sunday 31 August.

Runners in the well-known Jim Dingwall/Round the Houses event will compete for East medals and the event is also part of the Scottish Veteran Harriers Club race series.

Entries have been extended to midnight on Wednesday 27 August and all finishers will receive a goodie bag including a medal and snood.

The course remains the same as previous years around Grangemouth. Its flat and perfect for personal bests on traffic free roads and paths, starting and finishing in Grangemouth Stadium.

The main race which has electronic chipped timing, will be started by Falkirk FC legend and fans Player of the Millennium Kevin McAllister at 12.30pm.
