UK Athletics have announced the Novuna GB and NI team for the World Para Athletics Championships in Delhi, India, between 26 September and 5 October.
And we are delighted to see two more Scottish athletes will join Ben Sandilands in India, with the t20 1500m Paralympic champion confirmed in an earlier selection.
Frame Runner Finlay Menzies is set for a thrilling debut on the international stage while wheelchair racer Mel Woods gathers more big championships experience.
Congratulations to Ben, Finlay and Mel and their families, coaches and clubs on being picked for India.
The athletes announced will join those seven athletes selected earlier this year in June to make a full team of 37 for the upcoming Championships.
Performance aims are for athletes to win medals at these championships and to support their potential for the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.
Scottish athlete Finlay Menzies (Graeme Reid, Livingston) ran a new personal best at the England Athletics Para Championships in July in the T72 100m, an event that will make its Paralympic debut in LA 2028.
