Scotland’s 4x100m Women’s team posted a Glasgow 2026 qualifying standard in Switzerland.

A fine team effort in Geneva saw the quartet achieve 44.62 – well inside the 44.88 standard being asked by Team Scotland.

The running order was Lucy Fraser-Alyson Bell-Georgina Adam-Alisha Rees. And that time is the second fastest ever by Scotland Women for the 4x100m Relay – with the Record at 44.56.

Unfortunately, the Men’s 4x100m Relay team didn’t get the baton round in their race.

scottishathletics were pleased to support this relay opportunity and in individual 100m runs, Lucy equalled her PB at 11.86 and Alisha clocked a Season’s Best 11.75 seconds. Krishawn Aiken clocked  10.61 and Adam Clayton 10.87.

In the 200m races, Dean Patterson clocked 21.11 for a Euro U20 qualifying standard and Alyson Bell was at 23.00 but with +2.4 wind.

Jemma Reekie was in Diamond League action again on Friday night in Paris.

Jemma raced over 1500m this time and although finishing in 11th place in a packed finish, she clocked a big SB run of 3:59.42. That was within a second of her PB for the distance.

‘It was good to get a sub four minute run and I do plan to race a few more 1500ms this summer – and I will get fester,’ Jemma told Stuart Weir for scottishathletics in Paris.
