Community Coach role on offer at Dunfermline Track and Field

There is a key part-time role on offer in club athletics in Fife.

Dunfermline Track and Field club have a vacancy for a Community Coach to support the club in increasing membership numbers by planning and delivering three Run, Jump and Throw sessions and creating a pathway into the club. This will help to strengthen the club infrastructure.

About You:

We are looking for motivated proactive coach to support the club in increasing membership numbers by leading the delivery of three regular Run, Jump and Throw sessions and creating a pathway into the club. This will help to strengthen the club infrastructure.

You will have experience of planning and delivery of the running, jumping and throwing activities. You will display excellent organisation, monitoring, and evaluation skills.

About the Role:

This role will have a significant impact on developing, promoting and delivering three Run Jump and Throw Centres held across two venues while creating pathways into Dunfermline Track and Field Club to help grow the membership.

Support the recruitment of new parent helpers, coaches and encouraging existing coaches to progress through the coaching pathway and improve the profile of the club within the local community.

Pitreavie Athletics Centre, Queensferry Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8PP and Kinross High School, Loch Leven Community Campus, The Muirs, Kinross, KY13 8FQ

Salary:

The starting salary offered for the post will be £4587. Annual pay awards will be made in accordance with the salary review procedures agreed by the scottishathletics Board of Directors.

Hours of work:

The person appointed will be expected to work for 7 hours per-week. Due to the nature of the post, there will be a requirement to work in the evenings and at weekends.

Pension:

scottishathletics operates a qualifying group pension scheme for auto-enrolment purposes and will match the successful candidates’ contribution up to a maximum of 6% of salary, including the legal minimum contributions required.
