We’re back at the Emirates Arena once again this weekend for more championship action in the 4J Indoor Season.
This weekend we welcome hundreds of athletes for our Combined Events Champs and for the National Relays at Senior and U17 level.
For Senior athletes in the Combined Events, there are British Championship medals up for grabs as well as places on the Scottish Champs podium.
The Relays take place on Saturday with clubs competing in heats and then finals just as we did last Sunday for our U13 and U15 athletes.
Medals are on offer over 4x200m for U17 athletes and for Senior teams, as well, and these races always generate a superb atmosphere.
*Please note there will be car parking issues on Saturday with a Celtic FC home fixture with a 5.30pm kick-off. Please allow plenty of time for travel and be aware of parking restrictions in the streets close to the venue.
On Sunday, we host our Masters Indoor 3000m Champs at the Emirates once again.
This event was open to entries from V35 and above with medals allocated if certain performance standards are met (in the five-year age bands)
Good luck to everyone competing at the Emirates on Saturday and Sunday in three #4Jathletics Championship events.
And, of course, once again we say thank you to the volunteers who help drive out sport be they our qualified coaches and Officials or indeed club folk helping out. Thank You.
