scottishathletics, Athletics Trust Scotland and VP-Glasgow are delivering a special inclusive athletics workshop in February.
The sessions offer a great opportunity for coaches to learn more about working with Para athletes and promote diversity in our sport.
Pamela Robson, the scottishathletics Para Pathway Manager, will lead the on the day at Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow.
The date for diaries is Sunday 16 February from 10am to 1pm.
Workshop goals:
*Identify how to make your training inclusive
*Understand the importance of effective communication
*Introduction to the Activity Inclusion Model and the STEP framework
*Identify possible barriers to participation β and solutions
*Discover practical examples of making adaptions to athletics to include Para athletes
