Three Scots are heading to the European Team Championships in Germany with Team GB and NI later this month.
Eilidh Child will compete in the 400m Hurdles and the 4 x 400m relays while Lennie Waite is set to repeat last year’s outing in the 3000m steeplechase following a fifth place finish in Gateshead.
Luke Caldwell completes the trio of Scots bound for Braunschweig for the event on June 21-22.
Caldwell, who is at the NCAA finals in Oregon this forthcoming weekend alongside Matt Gillespie and Jax Thoirs, is named by GB for the 5000m.
UK long jump record holder Greg Rutherford and former world champion Phillips Idowu are set to compete in central Germany.
A number of new faces will be donning the Nike GB & NI kit for the fifth edition of these team championships as well as number of experienced athletes. Chris Baker, Lucy Bryan and Jazmin Sawyers have all received senior team selection for the first time.
