Officials needed for Linwood

The final Dunren Open Graded meeting of the season at Linwood will be held later this month.

And organisers are looking for help from officials for the meeting on the evening of Wednesday 20 August.

With the Commonwealth Games in full flow last week, and a number of Scottish officials on duty at Hampden, there was no July date at Linwood. The August meetings staged by Shettleston Harriers have been cancelled due to track replacement work at Crownpoint in Glasgow.

So, with large numbers expected, Linwood organisers are appealing to officials to help fill slots as timekeepers and track referees. The field events, starts and declarations are covered (with thanks to those involved).

The event starts at 7pm with officials required from 6.20pm with food supplied.
