BANK OF SCOTLAND The Bank of Scotland Talented Young Athlete (BoSTYA) Programme is now in its ninth year. This award winning programme is the result of a partnership with scottishathletics that is committed to developing young athletic talent across Scotland, smoothing the pathway to progress and success at International level by providing valuable technical and logistical support. Over the past five years, Bank of Scotland has invested more than £500,000 in the programme which benefits 150 of our top young athletes each year and has contributed in reversing the trend of young athletes leaving the sport during their teenage years. Bank of Scotland Athlete of the Year Held in conjunction with the scottishathletics Annual Awards each November, Bank of Scotland presents special prizes recognising the achievements of young athletes throughout several age-groups in the preceding twelve months. "I've been involved with the Talented Young Athletes Programme since 1999 and have seen the positive effect Bank of Scotland's sponsorship has had on Scottishathletics. The Programme provides; training sessions, group discussions, nutritional advice and drug testing for all its members, all of which is fantastic".
