SCOTTISH TEAM FOR SNOWDON

The Scottish team for the Snowdon International on Saturday July 28th has been named:

Dawn Scott (Lochaber)
The race claims to be one of Europe's toughest endurance challenges. The 10 mile course involves running from the edge of Lake Padarn in the village of Llanberis to the highest summit in Wales and England, and back down.
Dawn Scott won the ladies race in 2003 in 1.25.40.
Joe Symonds finished in 26th place in the European Mountain Running Championships in Cauterets at the weekend (July 8th). He completed the men's race over 12.8km/1570m ascent, in 1.14.12.
