Athlete and Coach Training Session

Grangemouth Stadium Sunday 8 March 2015

 

The last of our winter training sessions for young hammer throwers and their coaches will take place at the Grangemouth Indoor Arena this Sunday (March 8).

All young and new hammer throwers are invited. Coaches and parents who wish to develop their knowledge of the event are very welcome.

Please assemble at 9.30am for 9.45am start with a 12.30pm finish.  There will be a charge of £3 to cover the cost of the venue

Throws Coaches for the day will be Jim Green and Bill Main with help from Commonwealth Games athlete Chris Bennett.  For the Strength and Conditioning sessions, Karen Costello will lead assisted by Don McLeod

Other important dates for your diary are Sunday 22 March for the final Event Group Coach Development day. This will be at Grangemouth with Mick Jones for Hammer.

Hammerama will take place at Livingston as part of the Field Events Grand Prix on 11 April, 6 June, 25 July and 5 September.
