Online Entry for Seniors and U17s

The Indoor Season will be up and running early in the New Year – with all our championship events at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

And there will be an extra feel to the Scottish Senior Champs this time around with the U17 Age Group Champs taking place that day, as well.

Saturday 30 January is the date for diaries and we are looking for entries now with Scottish title medals and podium places up for grabs and hopefully numerous PB performances happening, as well!

The Senior Champs should be one of the highlights of indoor competition for athletes in that category and for 2016 it falls a couple of weeks after the National Open and prior to the British Champs in Sheffield in February.

We’re taking entries ONLINE for the Scottish Seniors and those can be made through the specific page on our Events section.

And, with numbers across our Age Group Champs so large in the past couple of years, we have taken the opportunity to include the U17 event alongside the Seniors – which should make for a busy and exciting programme at the Emirates.

The closing date for online entries for the event on January 30 will be WEDNESDAY 13 JANUARY and, while our offices are closed during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, the online entry process will remain open.

High jumpers were firmly to the fore at the Scottish Seniors in 2015 with Allan Smith and David Smith both clearing 2.25m and claiming Native Records, on a day when Ray Bobrownicki also cleared 2.20m.

Aberdeen athlete Zoey Clark won a 60m and 200m sprint double with PBs in both events and there were golds for the likes of Sarah Warnock, Kirsty Yates and Grant Plenderleith.

We’d certainly love to see Team Scotland athletes supporting the indoor champs once again in 2016.
