ENTRIES OPEN for District XC Relays
September is now upon us and on the scottishathletics calendar that only means once thing – the cross country season is looming!
The District XC Relays kick things off in terms of scottishathletics fixtures and Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October are dates for events to take place in three locations.
Glamis Castle will be the scenic backdrop for the East District XC Relays and Edderton will play host to the North District XC Relays. Both of those events are on the Saturday.
Hamilton Racecourse is the venue for the West District XC Relays and that one is on the Sunday (October 15).
So we’re now looking for clubs to start the hard work on organising names and entries across the age groups for October 14/15.
All entries are by post for these events so we are asking clubs to now gather up names for teams and get those off to the relevant address (see the Event page for each District XC Relay).
EAST entry forms – closes Monday 2 October (by post)
NORTH entry forms – closes Monday 2 October (by post)
WEST entry forms – closes Monday 2 October (by post)
Once again we are indebted to support from legal firm Lindsays for the Cross Country Season and that takes in a number of National events in the months following on from the District XC Relays – starting with the National XC Relays at Cumbernauld on Saturday 28 October.
